Last week The UK Government awarded it first compensable damage award to the fiancé of English musician Zion who passed away several days after receiving the AstraZenaca jab in May 2021. The news agencies in the UK have all published articles about this decision. And in the US, crickets.
The Vaccine Damage Payment scheme (VDP) operating under the UK’s NHS Business Services Authority made the landmark decision.
The award, £120,000 is equivalent to $148,000 in US dollars. The amount awarded is the maximum amount awarded in the Vaccine Damage Payment scheme that was amended in late 2020 to include COVID-19 jabs injuries or death.
UK has nearly 1,300 petitions pending from COVID-19 jab injury or death compared the US CounterMeasures Injury Compensation Program (CICP) with over 8,100 petitions.
To compare the damage award from the VDP with the CICP is very difficult. For one, the UK offers access government sponsored health care system and in the US we do not. That is one reason why monetary awards in the US’s NVICP are considerable higher than in the UK.
That does not provide any comfort for those who pass away in the UK. In the US, the NVICP caps death benefits at $250,000 and it is been reported for the CICP, the cap is approximately $365,000.00
However, the UK has now begun awarding compensation. Canada’s Vaccine Injury Support program has awarded at least two and no more than four awards.
The lack of any transparency by the UK, the Canadian and US Governments is maddening.
And in the US, the CICP still has not awarded any petitions for injury or death from a jab, medical device, or drugs declared to fight the COVID-19 virus. ZERO, ZIP, ZILCH.
There are two petitions pending. One has been pending since September 2021 alleging the jab caused anaphylaxis. That award is under a medical benefits review that will allow the federal government to deduct any insurance benefit, disability payments from other sources from the determined dollar award. That is now taken over nine months to conduct.
With over 8,000 petitions pending approval, this process is extremely slow and would create a nightmare backlog scenario for so many.
I believe the second petition is related to a medical device.
I will be watching closely any new determinations from the UK and Canada. And will be reporting ASAP any news.
Keep learning, keep challenging yourself and always, always question authority.
I believe the Australian government capped their programme at $200,000.
Like a flat rate, regardless of age, productivity, etc.
Hmmm, calculating average wage earner, life adjusted years etc, seems pretty cheap payout for the government's hey?! Even if they get 20% payout (which they won't, because most don't even know it's an option), still leaves quite a bit in th e kitty?
Nice to know they finally put a price on the cost of a human life.
British government will concede as little as possible as late as possible - don’t hold your breath Wayne, although with AZ the effects were often too immediate and obvious. Unlike the perpetrators I also doubt whether the British government will be handing out knighthoods and damehoods to the victims.
Nor is there a pool to pay off the victims: I believe they have to go cap in hand to the treasury each time.
