September statistics released by HRSA for CICP petitions.
Still the Same. Different message than what Bob Segar sang about.
Today, Thursday September 19th, HRSA released the September statistics regarding compensation awards from the CounterMeasures Injury Compensation Program.
Still the Same. The same old message.
Two additional petitions were reimbursed for medical expenses. Both, Covid-19 vaccines causing myocarditis. One petitioner received a check for $5,391.75 and the other $1,160.68.
The “lucky” petitioners received a compensation check for a most likely life long heart tissue injury. They will have to alter their lifestyle permanently.
With this announcement by HRSA, the totals for the year 2024 are 5 compensated cases. Since the beginning of the COVID era, there are now 16 compensated cases totaling $425,301.55.
In August, HRSA did release the news of one compensated case totaling $370,376.00. I immediately sent a FOIA request asking for breakdowns of the award such as any death benefit, lost wages or medical expenses reimbursed. HRSA finally acknowledged by FOIA request last week. Now the waiting game begins.
