One of the most troubling set of injury petitions filed in the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (NVICP) is Gardasil causing POTS.
These cases are being dismissed at a record rate. But why?
It does appear that the NVICP is ignoring the science and making decisions based upon policy not to recognize POTS as an injury from a vaccine or might be even reacting to more pressure by Merck, the manufacturer of Gardasil.
Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) is a form of dysautonomia, a disorder of the autonomic nervous system. According to the medical cabal, POTS is a common condition affecting an estimated one to three million Americans.
They want us to believe that POTS is nothing more than standing up too fast, blood rushing into the lower parts of our body without the brain adjusting the vascular system to constrict the blood vessels in our legs and body cavity. That may be true for the run of the mill version.
But for the more serious cases, the causation is more complex and injuries are very devastating.
The science supporting POTS being caused by a HPV vaccine is quite clear and convincing. We just have to look at what was done in Japan, here, here and of all places in the US, University of Toledo. The hometown of Jamie Farr who made Maxwell Klinger one of the most beloved characters of the TV series MASH.
Japan cured its own country of the scourge of POTS by simply removing the HPV vaccine from their childhood schedule. The United States did the opposite. We doubled down on Merck’s poison and now we are witnessing the destruction of so many teenagers.
In Japan, the country suspended the promotion of HPV vaccine in 2013 due to many adverse event reports. At the time of suspension, the uptake rate was ~70%. After the country suspended the promotion of HPV vaccine, the uptake rate dropped to ~1%. Dr. Ikeda, the lead researcher in Japan looking at vaccine induced injuries in mice, was rumored to have said that POTS was no longer a vaccine injury. There is some debate over that statement.
And of course, a lot of pro vaccine statements and studies claiming that cervical cancer rates are going to rise dramatically. That has not been proven since most serious cervical cancers develop in women in their late 40’s and early 50’s. The target for the HPV campaign in Japan was girls in their teens.
So is POTS a permanent injury?
Very few if any kids will ever fully recover from vaccine induced POTS. Many will remain confined to wheelchairs and walkers. A few will be able to walk and function some what.
Estimates suggest that up to 25% are disabled from working or attending school, and morbidity is on par with end‐stage heart failure and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
There are now a few cases being reported of the COVID-19 injectable allegedly causing POTS. Here is the first case study.
Remember when I mentioned Toledo? The home to the Toledo Mud Hens, a minor league professional baseball team.
The University of Toledo has conducted studies regarding vaccine induced POTS. Based upon an autoimmune cause.
Hop to It: The First Animal Model of Autoimmune Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome.
It was an animal study and they used rabbits as their test subjects. Of all animals, why rabbits? It is very simple and interesting. Clever title.
Rabbits have the ability to stand on their hind legs after being on all four legs for a period of time. Dizziness or fainting are not common with a rabbit much like a human. They are very similar autonomically to us regarding movements of standing up.
And the scientists can claim being the first to develop an in vivo animal model of autoimmune POTS.
It appears from the Court’s reaction to the petition filings, it is policy and not science that determines the fate of these teenagers and young adults.
Very similar outcome for SIDS. The NVICP is now about protecting the vaccination program in the US and not about compensating those who have been injured or have died. What a shame.
This is on the Chief Special Master Brian Corcoran. For he is the enforcer of this policy.
Keep learning, keep challenging yourself and always, always question authority.
