The CounterMeasures Injury Compensation Program (CICP) was established to provide a remedy for those who are injured by a declared countermeasure.
In the current environment of the COVID pandemic, the injuries or deaths as a result of an administered countermeasure such as a ventilator, drugs and vaccines can be compensable.
Even testing equipment has caused brain injury, sinus injury and bleeding.
A major problem with the CICP is the overwhelming number of petitions Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) receives. HRSA, as a part of the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Without proper funding and staffing, the backlog will grow exponentially quickly.
I remember back in 2014 when the US Government Accountability Office (GAO) wrote a scathing report about the backlog of petitions in the NVICP. Some taking over 6-10 years to litigate and make decisions while injured children and their parents worried about providing care. And that was the last time Congress gave a damn about vaccine injury compensation programs.
This scenario in the CICP could make the ugly backlog of the NVICP appear to be miniscule. There is no mechanism or court to move petitions forward in the CICP. HRSA can and will sit on petitions. Probably for many years, while those who were injured continue to suffer.
The CICP was never setup to handle a large scale pandemic. Lack of proper funding, very low staffing levels.
The chart below illustrates the pending avalanche of petition filings since HRSA first started to report any data in February 2021.
HRSA just released November 2021 data earlier this week. A bit late.
Thanks to Seth Packham for helping with the charting.
A few things to keep in mind when looking at this chart.
Not one COVID related petition has been awarded compensation. It is rumored by a couple of solid sources that HRSA will sit on all COVID vaccine related petitions. I wonder why. Pharma wants to keep this in the closet, under the rug.
My source in HRSA has told me that December’s totals are very ugly, very disturbing.
We need to keep pushing this information to our elected officials. Someone might care. Most will not.

Have a good day.
My gut feeling is they’ll all be ignored, which seems to be the governmental response to most things these days. Especially with the CDC and FDA.
This is so disheartening. Especially as I see parents running to get their kids jabbed and NYS on the cusp of making them mandatory for school.
